Ben Franklin said it best!

This post is link city!  This first one is a video attempting to demonstrate how the common Obama voter failed in their civic duty.  The voted without know the issues, without knowing the scorecard.  It also demonstrates that the liberal media succeeded in hiding the real issues.

The next is an article about what kind of government was intended by the founders of this country.  Ben Franklin was one of the least Christian of the signers of the Declaration.  But he stated many times that for the United States government to work, it requires a religious society.  Here is a quote from the article.

“The term republic had a significant meaning for both of them and all early Americans. It meant a lot more than just representative government and was a form of government in stark contrast to pure democracy where the majority dictated laws and rights….”

This country was intended to be a Republic, not a democracy.  In the original format only land owning individuals were allowed to vote.  The reason the Founding Fathers gave to this, was that the common man is not intelligent enough to vote for the person best for this country.  The common man is prone to voting for the person who is best for themselves.   Solely as evidence, I present the following quote from Ben Franklin.  “When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” Looking at the last several election cycles, this time has come.
